Manage file storage

Embedded NAS (eNAS) integrates the file-based storage capabilities of VNX arrays into storage systems.

Prerequisites

The storage system must be running HYPERMAX OS 5977 or PowerMaxOS 5978.

About this task

The File dashboard provides you with a single place from which to monitor and manage integrated VNX file services.

Steps

To access the File dashboard:
  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select System > File.
  3. If prompted, type the username and password you use to access the eNAS control station, and click OK.

    The File dashboard provides a point-in-time view of the eNAS instance. To refresh the information that is displayed in the dashboard, click refresh storage system Refresh icon in the status bar, or exit, or return to the dashboard.
